I am a librarian who is now working for a wonderful company that supports caregivers and families who need caregivers for their loved ones. I’ve learned that there is a growing caregiver crisis in both military and civilian families, especially as the population ages. In researching community services such as the public library, senior center, YMCA and recreation centers, I find senior programs but no programs that specifically target caregivers. Is there a library or library association program that looks at the often exhausted, over-stressed family and professional caregivers? Thank you.
